Town Pass agreement

Version 2026-11-03. This is a plain-words agreement between you and Nameplate Town ("the Town", nameplatetown.help@gmail.com).

1. What you get

Single Extra, $1.99: one payment, 90 days from the day we confirm it. One garden extra from the list on the permit form, built on your existing house within 24 hours. Town Pass, $3.99: the same for up to three extras, with one change of picks a month by email. Forever Garden, $8.99: one payment. All five garden extras, kept for as long as the Town exists; if the Town ever closes, you may ask for a refund of the unused part. Extras are decorations in the Town, not property.

Real Shop (free pilot): no payment is taken. We put your shopfront on a main street and one link (your website, shop or one product page) opens in a new tab when a visitor taps it. We look at every link before it goes live. We may refuse or remove a link that is unsafe, misleading, adult, illegal or off-topic. You are responsible for the site you link to; we do not endorse it, and we do not track visitors. We may end the pilot or begin to charge for listings later, and we will tell you before any charge; nothing is charged without your separate agreement.

2. What does not change

Your free house stays free and stays in the Town for as long as the Town exists. Colours and features you got for free are never taken away.

3. When a 90-day pass ends (Single Extra and Town Pass)

Its extras (or the shopfront link) are taken off on the last day. Your free house stays. We email you 10 days before and again at the end, with a link to renew. If you renew within 30 days we put everything back as you chose. There is no automatic charge, ever.

4. Refunds

If we have not built your extras within 24 hours of confirming payment, you get a full refund. You can also ask for a full refund within 7 days for any reason by replying to any of our emails.

5. What you are not buying

You do not own any land, building or item, and nothing here is an investment, a token or a collectible. You buy a decoration of your house in a game-like 3D town, for the time stated above.

6. Rules

Extras come only from the list. Garden names are letters, numbers and spaces and are checked; we may refuse a name and ask for another. We may remove a house or pass that breaks the rules of Instagram or of the Town, with a refund of the unused time.

7. Who can sign

You must be 18 or older. If you are younger, a parent or guardian must fill in this form with their own email, agree to this page, and pay.

8. Your details

We keep your name, email and permit choices only to run your pass, send you the emails above and answer you. We do not sell or share them. Payments are handled by Polar, who send their own receipt. You can ask us to delete your details at any time by email; your house can then stay without a pass.

9. If something goes wrong

Like any online service, the Town can have outages or mistakes. If you are unhappy for any reason, write to nameplatetown.help@gmail.com and we will put it right or refund you.

10. Changes

If we change this agreement, passes already paid keep the version they were signed under.
